It’s a bleak sentiment, and one people harp on whenever the C word comes up. But the obsession with a cure is unhelpful and even harmful to the strong survivor community.

While there may not be a cure, there’s a HEAL for cancer. And it’s time we celebrate that.
Recovery is a complex journey, and everyone does it differently. Some paint, others jam out to their favorite songs. Many take long bubble baths, or soothe their skin with their favorite products. But no matter what recovery looks like, it all starts with her.
So let’s cheer her on as she discovers her own path to healing. Along the way, she’ll welcome those wispy whispers of hair on that beautiful, mostly bald head. She’ll cheer for that new eyelash joining the party. This is her time to heal. And the new Dove Hydrating Care line is lovingly formulated to support that healing, every step of the way.
